Why Complete College America recognized EduNav’s innovative approach to student persistence
EduNav, a developer of algorithmic-based student academic planning software for colleges and universities, has earned the first-ever Guided Pathways to Success (GPS) Emerging Technology Award from Complete College America.
This recognition demonstrates the value, innovation, and promise EduNav brings as it helps colleges and universities improve student persistence and completion.
Tom Sugar, Complete College America senior vice president, explained, “Technology plays an important role in promoting on-time completion. EduNav not only showed the efficacy of their solution, they fully embraced the transformative and proven philosophy that putting students on highly-structured degree maps and monitoring their progress can dramatically boost college completion rates.”

Complete College America, a nonprofit which advocates for remediation reform, performance-based funding and other strategies to help more people graduate from college, launched this evaluation in an effort to ensure more independent quality assurance of ed-tech vendors. An abundance of products promising to save colleges money and boost student outcomes prompted Complete College America to look for ways to cut through the noise and verify what works and what doesn’t.
