EduNav Director of Marketing

January 2022

EduNav seeks a Director of Marketing to build and enhance marketing efforts across target higher education market segments. The successful candidate will develop and implement successful lead generation programs, manage digital market efforts, and work closely with the sales team to build product and brand awareness.

 

The Director of Marketing will develop lead generation programs and nurture outbound/inbound sales lead campaigns for EduNav solutions products and services. The position will play a crucial role in creating, implementing, and reinforcing best practices and procedures to make lead generation and the Sales/Client Success teams successful. The successful applicant will also help drive the general marketing efforts at EduNav, including efforts to build awareness of the company’s brand.

 

The candidate will also be responsible for building out a team and working with outside marketing partners to execute EduNav’s growth plan.

The position will offer the opportunity to have a significant impact on EduNav’s growth. EduNav doubled in size in 2021 and is forecast to triple in size in 2022. The success will support this growth by helping to deliver on our 2022 targets and build the capabilities to continue on this trajectory in 2023. Any successful candidate will be judged on their wiliness to step up to this challenge.

 

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team and management to develop lead generation strategies with prospective customers as well as initiate and manage lead/demand generation campaigns.
  • Manage programs to build awareness (outside PR agencies, Webinars), events.
  • Manage the development of collateral, including the company website.
  • Providing regular reports to EduNav leadership on the status of internal and external communications and lead-gen activity.
  • Effectively communicate and present the EduNav product solution and value proposition, stay on top of industry technology trends.
  • Own CRM contact database marketing operations.

 

Qualifications

Must be able to demonstrate

  • At least 4 years of marketing experience in ed-tech and/or 4 years of SaaS demand generation experience.
  • The ability and desire to independently develop new prospects in a highly-competitive environment, ideally enterprise software.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with lead generation and/or marketing automation software including proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Must be able to learn and speak to the application of technology in higher education.
  • Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Must work well in a company with a limited structure.
  • Creative thinker is willing to test ideas and apply learnings quickly.
